I recently came across a Contacts Backup sync application in android market called "Desktop Sync" though the name sounds weird it backup's contacts to the Remoba servers which is highly secure and sync's quite often whenever a new contact is added, modified or deleted such that keeping exact same copy of contacts in both Phone and Web whats more this application even gives you a "desktop Sync application" for all versions of windows OS that lets you sync all your contacts from Outlook, Outlook express, Palmdesktop or Lotusnotes to the webserver which then you can sync them back to your mobile, i think thats the reason they named it "Desktop Sync" its complete "Contact Sync solution" at your finger tips.
