Are you getting gtalk menu and system menu or only latter when you right click on gtalk icon in System tray ? I use gtalk in home and in office gtalk is unofficially official chat client... Most of the time i right click on the gtalk icon to check the pending email but many times this gtalk icon focus doesn't work quite well.... right clicking on icon not only open gtalk menu but also system standard menu and some times weirdly it opens only system menu see the below pic...
Solution: if we left-click the task bar first then right-click on Google talk icon in system tray this problem never occurs and everything works fine but if we right click directly on gtalk icon some times we get double or wrong menu though this is one of the alternate solution i found out... if you guys know any other solution do let us know.... and between if Google Messenger Team reading this please do fix this bug which is left unattended from ages.
