Recently some person tagged some bullshit photo to my facebook profile though the pic was tagged four months ago i did not scratched my head at the beginning because it was visible only for me but every time when i opened the photo album on facebook it was very much annoying to see those two pics but lately i decided to get rid of it when i tried to remove the pic and search for the options i was surprised to see facebook did not give any option to remove those pics from our own album and when i googled for the solution i came to know that many of them facing the same issue and only way to get rid of those pics is to request the original poster/tagger to untag me from that pic, really weird and jacka** design isn't it?
When i came to know that we do not have control on our own album in facebook my blood boiled and cursed the airhead in the facebook who designed it, facebook team has to review on this friggin issue and should allow some rights to override the people tagging without their consent or aleast give them power to remove those annoying tagged pics from our album.Facebook is said to be the second most visited website in the world and number one social networking site i thought FB will respect privacy, but its allowing friends to tag our picture with others and themselves i think people should get approval before tagging from owner what ever it is this glitch is bugging me from last two days.

Even i dont like the way I have almost very little control on face book...
FB needs to do something about it. I hate getting tagged on stupid pictures.

You can go into you privacy settings...edit them, and look where it says (Photos and videos you're tagged in) ... edit this setting and change it to (Only Me) Now no one else can see this stuff. I wish there was a way to just delete them. I do not like this about FB. Hope this helps.
Click on the pic and under each pic you will find your name written and in parentesis (Remove Tag) just click on "remove tag" and it will be removed.
I think this solution might be of help.I also have friends tagging me in photos on facebook.And I noticed I have a option of "Remove tag"just below /beside your name.If you remove the tag,of course you are saved from this kind of foulplay ..just try it
Just untag yourself!
I did the untag thing and nothing happened, the remove tag dissappeared, (I can't spell).. but the picture stayed...I made the only me thing too... but I don't even want to see them... grrr+
