Sex-selective abortion or female deselection was one of the notorious practice that took place heavily from mid 80's to mid 90's until the government of India banned the sex determination and considered it as the criminal offense, thanks to the modern electronic gadgets that paved the way for such a mass genocide and infanticide on female fetus i myself had seen in late 80s when i was still a kid many parents getting rid of their pregnancy after determining it is female by ultra sound scan it is said that still  a million female fetuses are aborted each year inspite of strict rules enforced by the government on all the labs and hospitals, girl child abortion is one of the common practice in asian countries such as china, india, taiwan and korea etc where cultural norm values are more for male child than female and studies shows in the western part of the world girl baby enjoys all the luxury of male and treated equally so this shows how the eastern world dominates women :( and that too india where girls have the place of goddesses.

so why people start killing female baby? though its not simple to answer it depends on the countries social, cultural, economic and government policies say in china girl child abortion became more when government brought a rule of one-child policy and people mindset of having a boy baby to continue their generation, and most of them preffered to have male child than female baby, in india where there was no restriction on number of kids the main reason for this geneocide was to avoid the implication of dowry at the time of the marriage which was very unlikley for the poor families to bear what ever the reason might be the bottom line is always a discrimination against women.

now present younger generation are facing the shock of sex imbalance i can say there is a "FAMINE FOR FEMININE" act of female deselection in the past by our elders the heat is now faced by our younger generation in india i can say there is so much imbalance in the male female ratio the consequences are clear "marriage squeeze" Indian and Chinese men are facing a tough challenging time to find a bride to start a family and there is so much scarcity of girls in asian countries to get a better answer ask any men who is in their marriage age(please don't ask me), now a days young men are so much compromised i can see many good looking men are marrying average looking women and whats more in some parts of india people are giving dowry to girls family what ever it is bottom line is simple this generation young men are royally screwed by our elders and if this imbalance continues Polyandry is the only solution :(  what say do you agree with me?
