how to hide amung us stats from others and privacy of stats ?

whos.amung.us is a free service that enables webmaster or bloggers to monitor visitors in real time but one thing annoying in this service is secrecy or openess on who can access the information, but in this case any one can see your visitors location, peak traffic, low traffic and many details though some bloggers and web admins do not care at the beginning  privacy becomes a major concerns in the long run when blog or website becomes famous because most web masters and bloggers dont want to share the vital information about traffic stats.

though we can hide the widget by resizing the image by changing the script so that others cannot see that you are using the amung.us in your website or blog below is the original script

to hide the widget change it as below

now that you have hidden or made widget invisible for others you can view your stats by opening it in the browser by using below URL and keycode

http://whos.amung.us/stats/YOUR KEY CODE

though by following above procedure normal visitors cannot see your blog or website stats but other bloggers and tech geeks can easily see your stat by right clicking on your webpage-->"view source" and finding the string 'amung' widget and copying and pasting your keycode in the browser as said in the last step.

so this is the reason is stopped using amungus stats in my website because few people were pinging and asking me if there was large variations instead i am using google analytics and sitemeter because it supports far more privacy and is password protected than amungus so guys at amungus start thinking about it else people might stop using your widget.
