Tough survival instincts of Plants

Some times i ask myself are we toughest or plants? because i have seen many plants surviving in hot summer in such an extreme conditions without water for long time the reason to write this post is there is a small plant on the wall in corner of our home which i am seeing it from last 3- 4 years but to my amazement this plant neither growed nor dried from last 4 years i suspect majority of its water source is from the moisture that is captured in the morning and you can also see the in the below pic that roots of the plant have gone inside the concrete.

though i never thought of removing the plant as it has become a non human friend and i want to see still how long it can survive and still i don't know exact name of the plant i suspect it to be (aladha mara) banyan plant or Ficus Religiosa (arali mara) but not sure what is the exact name if any one of you know the exact name of the plant do let us know.
