have you installed orbit downloader and fedup of annoying redirects of all 404 error pages to its custom search home page? recently i installed orbit downloader to rip streaming mp3 and videos from the web though its a great tool and does what it says i was a very much fedup of 404 page hijack from the webbrowser as show in below pic
though its a good feature making it a default without user consent is a bad idea but fortunately orbit downloader has provided a disable feature in its new version of the application below are the few steps on how to do it...open your orbit downloader application window click on tools-->preference in preference window click on the Monitoring option and uncheck the checkbox which reads “Let Orbit suggestions on browser navigation error" as show in below pic
now click ok all is don no more annoying 404 redirects

how do u disable this for mozilla firefox?
this tip applies for both mozilla and ie...
just open orbitdownloader application from startmenu-->programs-->orbit downloader
in the program follow the above steps in the post...
yes as ben said this trick applies for both IE and Firefox
So freaking annoying, its been updated this is old crap, there is no check box for "Let Orbit suggestions on browser navigation error" needs a new fix and fast
