Blogging Syndrome and Losing Social life ? are you victim of it?

Ever since i started blogging a year and half ago blogging is becoming addiction more than the passion though i try to refrain from thinking about blog somewhere in my brain there will be a thought which will be always parallel'y thinking about what SEO technique should be applied to improve the blog, what template to change, what is the next post, how to make people interact and leave a comment etc etc.

i think blogging has really had a great impact on my social life made me change my life style and schedule very much than what it was before though there was a time when i was switching on my computer to play games and see movies and do other sorts of work now i only switch on my computer to blog, blog and only blog and some times i think "Am i a Victim of Blog Syndrome disorder? ". yes i guess i am,

below are some of the symptoms i noticed

1. Always Searching and brain drilling for a topic to blog about and feeling sad or guilty if you forget or could not post on any single day

2. Compelling Colleagues, Friends and relatives to visit your blog and forcing them to read all the post you think it is hot and interesting.

3. Always checking for stats and number of people online to your blog.

4. Trying to Digg your articles in bookmarking sites and mentioning the URL in public forums and always thinking about Making your blog SE Optimized

5. Spending Most of the time near your computer than family.

6. Looking for comments and traffic for posts you think it is hot and getting deppressed when they aren't any.

7. Maintaining a list of social bookmarking sites to digg your articles.

8. Smile on your face for every dollar earned through adsense.

9. Always comparing your blog with traffic, comments and interactiveness with fellow bloggers.

10. Always cribbing why Search engines such as Google, Live and yahoo not indexing your site completely.

if you are a blogger and if you say "yes" to at least any of the above "5 "points then you are the victim of blogging syndrome the only possible cure is stay away from your computer and chill out with family and friends, after all blogging is not always the second life. and between i wrote this post because i am so obsessed with blogging i did not get any topic to write today so making you guys read this junkie bytes of data and between do let me know if you think you are victim like me.

Blogging definitely has addiction possibilities! These days I do find family more interesting again (hey, does this mean blogging got less interesting or my family got more... )
